(overlooking Lake Wallenpaupack, part of

on Lake Wallenpaupack, try the French
Onion soup!)
Falls Port Inn (in
the Hawley Boro, much history and great
steak!)
Joe and Lorenzo's Pizza
(on main street in Hawley...nice people,

by the Genzlingers, residents of the
Hawley Boro)
Torte Knox (right
on main street in the Hawley Boro...owner

If you're in the mood for fast food,
there's a McDonalds, Wendys, Pizza Hut
and a Dunkin Donuts 7 miles or so from
the 'gateway to Lake Wallenpaupack on
Route 6. Many other restaurants around
too, like the Hawley Diner right on main

so from the 'gateway' to Lake
Wallenpaupack you'll find Walmart,
Kmart, Payless, Home Depot and a ton of
other shops. Of course, you'll miss out
on the 'local' experience there, but
what you need is what you need.
